With a third-place finish in the final race at Monza, Valentin Pierburg (GER) and Dominik Baumann (AUT) secured the championship in the PROAM category of the International GT Open in their Mercedes-AMG GT3 #20. In an eventful race, the team clinched its second PROAM title after 2018 in a close championship battle.

In its debut at the Suzuka 1000km, SPS automotive performance finished seventh in the Bronze category. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 #27 with drivers Ian James (GBR), Zacharie Robichon (CAN) and Alex Riberas (ESP) started from tenth place in the Bronze class under the Heart of Racing by SPS entry and achieved a top 10 finish in its class on the demanding Grand Prix circuit in its first appearance in Japan.

SPS automotive performance will compete at the Suzuka International Racing Course for the first time with a Mercedes-AMG GT3. As part of the Intercontinental GT Challenge, the team will contest the 1000 km race at Suzuka under the Heart of Racing by SPS banner with drivers Ian James (GBR), Zacharie Robichon (CAN) and Alex Riberas (ESP).

After a strong comeback, SPS automotive performance secured third place in the Pro-Am class with the #4 Mercedes-AMG GT3 and the driver quartet George Kurtz, Colin Braun (both USA), Ian James (GBR) and Nicky Catsburg (NED) under the CrowdStrike by SPS banner.
