International GT Open: Championship decider to be held in Monza

The season finale of the International GT Open will take place at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale Monza from 17 to 19 October. In the battle for the championship in the PROAM category, Valentin Pierburg (GER) and Dominik Baumann (AUT) in the #20 Mercedes-AMG GT3 are just one point behind the leaders in second place. With a good result in the final endurance race at the so-called ‘Temple of Speed’, the SPS automotive performance driver duo can crown their strong season with the championship title.

Suzuka 1000km: Ups and downs for SPS automotive performance

In its debut at the Suzuka 1000km, SPS automotive performance finished seventh in the Bronze category. The Mercedes-AMG GT3 #27 with drivers Ian James (GBR), Zacharie Robichon (CAN) and Alex Riberas (ESP) started from tenth place in the Bronze class under the Heart of Racing by SPS entry and achieved a top 10 finish in its class on the demanding Grand Prix circuit in its first appearance in Japan.

Fantastic conclusion to the track day season in Marbella

On the first weekend of October, collectors of supercars and classic cars from all over the world travelled to the Spanish coast to take part in one of the most exciting events of the year: the ‘Concurso de Elegancia Costa del Sol.’ SPS automotive performance supported this exciting and exclusive event with its technical expertise. The perfect concept included a static presentation of exclusive cars, wonderful gourmet dinner locations, breathtaking trips on picturesque mountain roads and the opportunity to do a few fast laps on the Circuito Ascari.

Together with our exclusive customers, we presented some extraordinary models. From Bugatti, we showcased the Chiron Profilée, Centodieci and Divo models. We also brought several other award-winning cars to Marbella. The Bugatti Chiron Profilée, which we maintain, was awarded ‘Best in Show’.

Supercars such as the Bugatti Bolide, Pagani Huayra R, Porsche 935, Porsche GT3 Rennsport and Mercedes-AMG GT3 were on the road at the track day at the Circuito Ascari, attracting a lot of attention from all guests and participants.

With the certification of our employees by Bugatti, SPS automotive performance is now an official service partner for the Bugatti Bolide. Through intensive training at the manufacturer of exclusive automobiles in Molsheim, Alsace, we have been authorised to service this super sports car, limited to 40 units, and to carry out all maintenance and service work.
