PASSION FOR PERFORMANCE

Motorsport is an essential part of SPS automotive performance's DNA. Shortly after its foundation, the company entered the Porsche Sports Cup and celebrated its first successes in motorsport. From 2006, SPS automotive performance competed in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. At the premiere race in Bahrain, the team clinched its first victory in this top-class racing series with Uwe Alzen at the wheel and celebrated the vice-championship at the end of the season.

SPS automotive peformance has been in GT3 racing since 2014 - and has been successful right from the start. The team won the 12-hour race at the Hungaroring on its debut with the SLS AMG GT3. Since then, SPS automotive performance has established itself as a reliable customer sports team in international and renowned racing series and celebrated numerous victories and championships together with its customers in the following years.

The preliminary highlight of this success story was the 2022 season, in which SPS celebrated the Pro-Am team championship in the Endurance Cup of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe and class victory at the 24 Hours of Spa. SPS automotive performance also topped the podium for the first time in the internal Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Championship in 2022.
