International GT Open: PROAM championship lead

SPS automotive performance made a successful start to the 2025 International GT Open season. After three of eight events, Valentin Pierburg (GER) and Dominik Baumann (AUT) are in the lead of the PROAM championship standings in the #20 Mercedes-AMG GT3. With one class victory and three further podium finishes, Pierburg and Baumann have collected 45 championship points so far.

Their teammates Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler (both SUI) in the sister car #54, entered as CBRX by SPS, also had a very satisfactory start to the season despite one skipped event. After the last round at the Hockenheimring, where the duo finished on the class podium in both races for the first time, the team is now in a strong fifth place in the PROAM category.

The mid-season races of the International GT Open will start on 6–8 July at the Hungaroring.

SPS automotive performance was also an exhibitor at the popular MYLE Festival at Motorworld Munich, showcasing the Bugatti Bolide and the Pagani Huayra R.
