SPS automotive performance with Team Suisse back at the FIA Motorsport Games

As in 2022, SPS automotive performance will once again be represented at the FIA Motorsport Games in Valencia from 23 to 27 October. 85 nations will be competing for medals in various motorsport categories on and around the Circuit Ricardo Tormo. The Willsbach-based team will enter one Mercedes-AMG GT3 for the Swiss team in the GT discipline.

Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler will represent the colours of the Swiss Confederation in Valencia together with SPS automotive performance. The likeable duo will compete together in the GT discipline.

Müller and Mettler have been competing successfully together with SPS automotive performance in the International GT Open for several years, where the team has achieved several class victories and class podiums to date. Yannick Mettler is also competing in the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe this year and took class victory in the Silver Cup at the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa. At the last edition of the FIA Motorsport Games at the Circuit Paul Ricard, the duo achieved a strong fifth position for Team Suisse in the GT competition. Yannick Mettler also impressed in the GT Sprint with a top ten result in a top-class field.

In the GT competition, a qualifying race and a main race are held, each lasting 60 minutes. In each race, both drivers take turns at the wheel of their car.

The practice sessions and qualifying for the GT competitions at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo will start on Friday 24 October, followed by the races on 25 October.

The grid was really competitive then and I think it will be the same again in this edition. We will do everything we make this competition a success.”
