At the second event of the International GT Open in Spa-Francorchamps, SPS automotive performance remained without points this time. Reece Barr (IRL) and Mikaeel Pitamber (RSA) in the #20 Mercedes-AMG GT3 fell out of the leading group due to an unforced incident in the early stages. The sister car #54 under the entry CBRX by SPS with Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler (both SUI) were also unable to join the fight for the points after an early puncture.

SPS automotive performance aims for next success at Spa-Francorchamps
After the successful season start in the International GT Open, SPS automotive performance returns to Spa-Francorchamps highly motivated. At the second event of the International GT Open, the Willsbach-based team will once again be competing with two Mercedes-AMG GT3s.
Further class victory for SPS automotive performance in the 24H Series
At the 12H Spa-Francorchamps, SPS automotive performance clinched class victory in the GT3-AM and a strong third place overall under the Heart of Racing by SPS entry. Ian James (GBR), Gray Newell (USA) and Roman de Angelis (CAN) drove the Mercedes-AMG GT3 #27 to another win in their category after their success at Mugello in sometimes difficult conditions.
