Successful kick-off to the 2023 motorsports season at the 24H Dubai. SPS automotive performance claimed a class podium with The Heart of Racing’s #27 Mercedes-AMG GT3 right at the start of the year.
Traditionally, the motorsport year gets underway in January with the 24H Dubai. SPS automotive performance will also be back in 2023 for the first highlight of the year at the Persian Gulf.
At the Gulf 12 Hours, SPS automotive performance concluded its most successful motorsport season to date. Two championship titles, several achievements in prestigious endurance races and winning the Mercedes-AMG Customer Racing Championship made 2022 an outstanding year.
Successful end of the year for SPS automotive performance. Kenny Habul (AUS) Martin Konrad (AUT) and Philip Ellis (SUI), at the wheel of the #75 Mercedes-AMG GT3, won the Pro-Am class and finished fifth overall at the Gulf 12 Hours at Yas Marina Circuit.
From 9th to 11th December, the finale of this season’s Intercontinental GT Challenge (IGTC) will feature for the first time on the programme for the Gulf 12 Hours at Yas Marina Circuit. SPS automotive performance will run two Mercedes-AMG GT3s at this prestigious event.
SPS automotive performance, with its drivers Valentin Pierburg and Fabian Schiller (both GER) in the #20 Mercedes-AMG GT3 for Team Germany, won the silver medal in the GT Cup at the FIA Motorsport Games at Circuit Paul Ricard.
Dexter Müller and Yannick Mettler (both SUI) secured third place in the PROAM championship in the International GT Open, courtesy of fourth place in a thrilling final race of the season at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

After a two-year hiatus, the FIA Motorsport Games will be returning and hosted at Circuit Paul Ricard in Southern France from 26th to 30th October. SPS automotive performance will enter a Mercedes-AMG GT3 in the GT and GT Sprint disciplines for both Team Germany and Team Swiss.
SPS automotive performance won the Team championship in the Pro-Am class of the Endurance Cup, which forms part of the Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS, with another class victory in the final race of the season at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
