25 years after the last race appearance of the Sauber Mercedes C291 Karl Wendlinger had the chance to move the vehicle in Le Castellet at the Circuit Paul Ricard. He didnt let this unique opportunity pass and tested the Group C racing car extensively on the track. The Sauber Mercedes C291 was perfectly prepared by SPS automotive performance and everything worked without errors. The vehicle was at its time, in the 1991 season, already a highly developed race car and Karl Wendlinger praised the team SPS automotive performance for the excellent state of the Sauber Mercedes C291. In summary a successful comeback to the track for this legendary race car!
