And now: a bird’s eye view on the weekend:
Free trials … everything runs smoothly with both cars. Yes – a final fine-tuning is certainly necessary. Then free training … another fine-tuning. Qualifying: we all expected a little more – but who cares, the race is long.
Starting P6 and P9 means fighting through the field – and that’s not easy with the competition. Both vehicles assert themselves on their positions, and – they improve. But the Black Falcon, V8 Racing, HTP Motorsport and also the GRT Grasser Racing Team are serious opponents!
Ultimately, the result is – say – sweet / sour: P1 in the class and P5 overall for the # 16 a great success – no question. Nevertheless, the second vehicle being out of the race… only 4 hours before the end of the race was not planned so … a great pity – but unerring hope for more success in the next race!
