Im Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup sind die Fahrzeuge - exklusiv in den Porsche Markenpokalen - mit einer speziellen Abgasanlage mit einem markanten, an das Formel 1-Umfeld angepassten Klangbild sowie der Porsche-Keramik-Verbundbremse PCCB (Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake) ausgestattet.
Kooperationspartner Michelin hat für Porsche Motorsport spezielle Cup-Reifen entwickelt, von denen pro Wagen und Wochenende zwei Sätze Slicks verbraucht werden dürfen. Die Anzahl der Michelin-Regenreifen ist unbegrenzt. Die Reifen sind für alle Starter identisch; sie dürfen nicht mit Wärme oder chemisch behandelt werden.
