Last weekend SPS did another VLN race on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.
During the Friday Test Greg Ross did a suspension test in a Porsche 997 GT3 Cup, the race car for the Porsche Carrera World Cup, taking place on the Nordschleife next week. That Porsche Carrera World Cup (PCWC) is a support race of the 24h race, one of the famoust long distance races worldwide. The Porsche Carrera World Cup is going to be the biggest one make race in the world - the goal is to have 200 Porsche Cup cars racing. Greg Ross will do that Porsche Worldcup.
In the VLN race on Saturday Greg Ross drove a Porsche 996 GT3 Cup. In Qualifying Ross reached 63rd position, which means in the middle of the 154 cars strong field. During the race Greg Ross could gain quite a lot positions through constant quick lap times and only a few pit stops. In the end he finished the race in 38th position overall and 12th in his class. The race was stopped after 3 1/2 hours due to heavy rain. For Greg Ross this race was another training session for next weeks Worldcup........
